4 4 Action Items: 1.Memorialize the contract review/renegotiation process utilized by the Vendor Performance Management (VPM). Develop a document outlining the key steps, successful strategies and tips experienced with agencies during the original contract renegotiation initiative. This information may be useful for future revisions to the Procurement Guidebook as well as in the development of training curriculum for contract manager and the contract negotiator course work. 2.Complete the review and renegotiation of future contracts submitted by agencies for savings initiatives. Contract savings resulting from the initiatives will continue to be tracked and the tracking system will be managed by DMS, Office of Fiscal Integrity. Transitioning VPM

5 5 3.As requested by state agencies, including DMS, provide assistance with the specification development and participate as an evaluation/selection team member for agency specific procurements. 4.Assist and advise the State Purchasing team members in the development of training curriculum for contract manager and contract negotiator course work, original certification classes, and recertification classes.

8 8 MFMP Utilization All five metrics on the MFMP Utilization Scorecard are calculated on a fiscal year-to-date basis. On July 1, 2013 the numbers used to calculate the metrics will “reset.” This will allow a fresh start for agencies that have made positive utilization changes. This will not change the way that the metrics are calculated, which is detailed in the reference document distributed with the Scorecard. We will be reaching out to agencies to discuss process improvements/efficiencies gained through increased utilization.

9 9 MFMP Training We have heard feedback from agencies on the need for MFMP training statewide and are planning on conducting trainings May 20, 21 and 23 in: –Orlando –Tampa –Ft. Lauderdale Registrations will be posted soon and we plan to focus on: –Invoicing –Contracts –eQuote for Buyers and Vendors

10 10 MFMP Updates Follow-up from last PD meeting: –We are working on splitting our current eQuote event report by agency and posting to their Secure Reports website. Punchout Catalog: –We are currently in the process of testing a punchout catalog with Mac Papers. We will send out a communication when they are ready to go live.
