 Child Soldiers are brought into the army at a very young age  This effects the children and their family because they never see their family and don’t have a childhood  The Children sometimes are forced to kill other kids their own age

 Isabela was a child soldier who was about 12 when she joined  She was forced to kill a kid who was a year older than her  She was taught to hate the police along with all the other children soldiers who were taught to hate them too

 Lots of Children volunteered to join the guerrilla army group  Her Father was in the army and was very strict and did not want her to join the guerilla army  They promised to give shelter, food, and clothing along with a good life  This allures many child soldiers into volunteering  Isabela liked the way the soldiers looked and wanted to join

 The guerilla army did provide clothing, food, and shelter, but they forced the children to do bad things  For food they usually ate only rice, bananas, and some water  No one was allowed to leave once they join because if they did they would be killed

 One thing is that Isabela was never allowed to see her family after the day she left  She was forced to kill other children and she didn’t have a choice  She was forced to hate the police, when police are supposed to protect people  If she were to get pregnant, she would have to have an abortion
