What is it? A story, long or short, with a teenage hero as the protagonist. Usually the story focuses on issues important to young adults. A lot also focus on teenagers dealing with tough stuff like: illness, divorce, drugs, gangs, crime, violence, sexuality, incest, poverty and rape. This category also it also includes adventure, romance, science fiction, mystery, survival, the supernatural, vampires, fantasy, and horror stories AS LONG AS THE PROTAGNOIST IS A YOUNG ADULT struggling with issues important to young adults.
