21. 21 The Principles The philosophy of the 24/7 Dad™ programs is built upon nine principles — natural laws or fundamental truths about fathering and parenting that cut across social, racial and geographic characteristics. 1. Fathering/parenting is a process that leads to the development of a product. 2. People learn on two levels: cognitive (knowledge- head) and affective (feelings-stomach).
