3. Biography Hello! My name is Jeyne, I am 11 years old. I go to UNIS and international school. I think the Subject English would be my favorite. I love reading. Once I pick up a book and read I stick to it like glue and it would be hard for me to stop reading. I love poems and rhyme. I like making up a poem about me, friends because it just sounds so nice and inspiring making you want to write your own. I enjoyed writing a limerick as it made me remind back when I went shopping but this time I added my friends to it. I also very enjoy concrete poem because I love drawing instead we draw a picture with words. Lots of picture goes in my head inspiring me to which one should I do. But I ended up doing a picture Google because of lots of reasons like one is, it’s famous. Everyone uses it at least to find things. I can’t help it that I type down Google instead of let’s say Yahoo or Bing. When I was in grade one, Poems describe my feeling, thoughts and everything. As we now learn about poems, it brings back the perspective when I was a child. It brings back every childhood memory. Also bringing back thoughts about writing a Haiku that time. Poems are part of our life! 1

My cousin is a clown She is weird, funny and makes jokes Her loud, funny voice makes us laugh out loud She wears colorful clothes everyday She makes a goofy dance as she walks “PARTY!PARTY!” She shouts on Friday Comes home at ten thirty and sweats Speaking alien language and laughing all night I tell you my cousin is a clown. 6
