PROPORTIONAL RELATIONSHIP y=kx A PROPORTIONAL RELATIONSHIP is a set of ordered pairs (represented on a table or graph) which follows a rule with the formula y=kx. kCONSTANT OF PROPORTIONALITY k is a constant which we call the CONSTANT OF PROPORTIONALITY.
