Pesticide Stewardship – any activity that has a positive impact on the safety and efficacy of pesticides from manufacture, marketing and commerce, through storage and use, and ultimately disposal of unwanted or unusable products and the management of emptied containers. The goals of TPSA are to increase the effectiveness, efficiency, and longevity of various stewardship efforts.

Will serve as a forum to facilitate cooperation among all interested individuals, organizations, agencies and companies. Will utilize education, training, outreach and other activities to accomplish its stewardship objectives and will be involved in the local, national and international arenas.

Changes in agriculture production have changed the way farmers purchase and handle pesticides Mini Bulk containers, especially caged pesticide tanks have found a useful place on the farm In many cases these caged tanks haven’t left. Rinsing and Recycling Caged Tanks

TPSA is committed to providing farmer guidance on how to rinse, recycle and remove these containers from their operations.

The Pesticide Stewardship Alliance is a volunteer organization – comprised of federal, state, and local government agencies, educational and research institutions, public organizations, concerned individuals, and private corporations including pesticide and container manufacturers and recycling contractors -- all actively involved in specialized aspects of pesticide stewardship.
