2 Why make a video? Fun way to share what you are doing with others Tangible product Bring excitement into the classroom Use language in real situations Great way to share class projects

9 Get the kids motivated Have a contest between your classes Appoint other teachers as judges Give out “valuable” prizes to the winners

10 Plan your video Have the kids write an outline with specific characters Write a script sample script or storyboardsample scriptboard Include everyone’s input in the class Keep the video short (no longer than 5-8 minutes) Use props

19 Want to burn a DVD? Choose “create”, then ”DVD” on the Flipshare video page. Choose movie you want to save on DVD Choose “burn” and the file will be placed on the desktop for your DVD Open the file on the desktop and choose ”burn to disc”

20 Give out your awards Get people to vote for the best movie Give out your prizes Plan ahead for your next movie to keep the excitement going Decide what you will do differently next time
