Integrated Pest Management IPM emphasizes the use of biological, cultural, and mechanical methods of control. Chemical control is used as a last resort to destroy pest and diseases.

Mechanical Control Mechanical Controls—the use of hands-on techniques as well as simple equipment, devices, and natural ingredients that provide a protective barrier between plants and insects.
