Our ‘Extra-Curricular’ Vision + Aims Vision For every student at BSM to develop a lifelong commitment to physical activity, understand the importance of following a healthy, active lifestyle and ensure physical activity is a key part of their day to day life. Aims To give all BSM students the opportunity to develop their interests, skills and all components of fitness by providing a full and varied offer of sports and physical activity clubs categorised as ‘Sports Clubs’ in BSM’s ASA Programme. To support our students to achieve their physical and sporting potential through the provision of appropriate ‘Sports Clubs’ programmes and individual guidance.

Increasing Opportunity Wide range of Sport Clubs as part of the ASA programme Increase in ‘active’ ASA’s and Aesthetic sports (Jazz Bop/ Hip Hop) Increase in qualified coaches Re-organisation of the ASA times to gain more contact time (3 x 1 hour slots) 12 sport related choices per term this year (including aesthetic clubs) Inclusive + age-appropriate Sports Clubs Growth of the ‘Lions’ Clubs (Gymnastics/ Football/ Basketball) BSM Swim Club Over 210 student representatives (53%)
