4. Similarities  Both had major influences on other mathematicians and scientists  Both mostly did work on geometry  Both had same presenting styles  Used the same methods to teach

5. Differences  Charles mostly did work on translation of Euclid’s work and applying knowledge in his time  Euclid made up all theories by himself  The only mathematical method Charles invented was a voting system.  Charles solved some questions using Euclid’s teachings

6. Conclusion  Without Euclid, geometry would have been discovered much later, causing many known methods to not exist  Without Charles’s translations and defending, people would have thought Euclid’s ways were fake and useless
