Ground water flow modeling. Input data preparation. D.Frank-Kamenetsky (Committee) I.Bogotyrev (Mineral) G.Savenkova (Mineral) M.Naumovets (Mineral) G.Bogdanova (expert)
2
Location of the pilot modeling areas Shuvalovo
3
Main tasks: Modeling of the oil pollution migration. Modeling of oil pollution of the inter moraine aquifer. Assessment of the pollution migration to surface water objects. “Shuvalovo” polygon
4
“Polustrovo” polygon Protection of the ground water deposits against pollutants migration from upper aquifers. Modeling of flooding caused by ground water. Estimation of chemical changes caused by negative load to ground water. Development of the recommendations to reduce negative impact to ground water in Polustrove area.
5
Required input data information on all boreholes and wells used for different purposes: water-intake boreholes; private boreholes, monitoring, stratigraphic wells, etc; static and piezometric levels; groundwater table; aquifer thickness; climatic parameters: intensity of atmospheric precipitation, temperatures, etc; hydrological data on rivers: level, runway, morphometric characteristics, flow-rate, etc.; geometry of the system: data on the roof and subface of lithological strata; tested filtration parameters (filtration coefficient, transmissibility, porosity, etc.); chemical composition of groundwater.
