2. Poseidon’s Origin Poseidon is one of the most famous gods of the sea.
He is the son of Cronus and Rhea. He is one of six siblings.
His brothers and sisters include: Hestia, Demeter, Hera, Hades, and Zeus.
When Poseidon was born, he was swallowed by his father.

4. Poseidon’s Myth
Poseidon was involved in a competition with the goddess of war Athena for the city of Athens.
To win, Poseidon threw a spear at the ground producing the Spring at the Acropolis.
Poseidon flooded the Attic Plain.
Athena and Poseidon worked with each other by combining their powers.
