Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen. To the glory of Your great name, Amen. If we pray in Bubba’s name (by the power of Bubba) – we have nothing; let’s not hurry through this part of the prayer.

Prayers for the Bible are not formulas, but they give us a great guide. They are much more powerful than – “bless Johnny” or “be with Betty”

7. A.C.T.S – Prayer Acrostic Leaders – you may want to talk about this – or not. Adoration – Praise God for who He is Confession – Confess your sins to God Thanksgiving – Thank God for what He has done Supplication – Ask God for whatever – present your requests to God

8. We are talking to the God of the Universe!!!!! We should often be confessing our sins and our sinfulness to God Don’t use different phrases as fillers (Lord, Father, God – are not the same as “ummm”) It often helps to kneel

9. I find it helpful to pray out loud - even when alone (focus) Be specific - then you’ll see his answers and it shows more faith Praying well out loud comes from much praying alone Initiate Prayer
