1. Everyone Has a Story to Tell If you can tell it, then you can write it.

2. Group Assignments Choose a group of 3 or 4. Sit with your group. Send one group member to me to get one snack size bag of M&Ms for each group member. Open your bag of M&Ms, BUT DO NOT EAT THEM! (If you do, then you get a zero) Sort your M&Ms into groups by color. Push the color group with the most M&Ms to the side. Then, you may eat the other ones. If you have more than one color group that is the same, then you may choose the color to keep.

3. Now,... In a few minutes, you are going to think of a personal story to tell your group. The type of story you will tell will be based on your M&M color. The color key will be revealed on the next slide. Are there any questions?

5. Homework Tonight, write your story down. Bring it in tomorrow for a grade. It is due at the beginning of the period.
