Paul Frederic Simon Born October 13, 1941 Grew up in Newark, New Jersey Met Arthur “Art” Garfunkel when they were both 11 Paul and Art began singing together at age 13 Formed the duo Simon & Garfunkel in 1964 Successful musical career spans 6 decades
