Welcome to St. Peter! “Come, Holy Spirit!” This week in all our services we celebrate the coming of the Holy Spirit on that first Pentecost Sunday in fulfillment of promise and prophecy, and he continues to come to his faithful through Word and Sacrament. Thus the church never ceases to be renewed and to grow.

Prayer of the Church Pastor: Praise to you, Holy Spirit. We worship and glorify you as the Lord and the giver of life. As you were present at the beginning of the world to shed life on all created things,

Prayer of the Church Pastor: as you gave a new life of understanding to the disciples in your Pentecost baptism of fire, so by the baptism of water with the Word, you have made the light of faith shine in our hearts to know Jesus as our Lord.
