3 Real Property Demographics Real Property (RP) Community –11,000 FTEs –70% of community in DND & PWGSC –12 functions –Main occupational groups: AS (34%), EG (24%), EN (16%) –Average age: 47 –32% eligible to retire within 5 years (59% of EXs) –37% > 20 years of pensionable service –Mobility: 33% of moves are within the RP community, 40% from RP to non-RP, 27% from non-RP to RP 3

4 Procurement and Materiel Demographics 70% of Procurement & Materiel pop. in DND & PWGSC Procurement Community –Largely comprised of 3,200 FTEs in PG Occupational Group (2014 demographic study) –Community also includes AS, CR, PM & other groups –Average age: 46 –30% eligible to retire within 5 years –35% > 20 years of pensionable service –73% in NCR –85% of new hires = casual or term Materiel Management Community –1,500 ~ 2,000 FTEs 4
