Lens/questions How we express ourselves: An inquiry into the ways in which we discover and express ideas, feelings, nature, culture, beliefs and values; the ways in which we reflect on, extend and enjoy our creativity; our appreciation of the aesthetic. Questions: How does story telling affect modern day society? How do we express ourselves and our ideas through a story? What are the different ways stories are passed down? How does folklore shape itself or change through time?

Types of Storytelling Cultural Areas: many areas with religions that pass down stories such as: Christianity, Buddhism, Islam, Judaism, Hinduism,, etc. (all over the world) Social Gossiping: ( all over the world) Myths Typically associated with cultural issues Origin usually not known Personal Individual’s life experiences Can steer person to making better choices
