Worry often gives a small thing a big shadow

JESUS ON WORRY (MATTHEW 6) 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life? 31 So do not worry, saying, “What shall we eat?” or “What shall we drink?” or “What shall we wear?” …. your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

GOD’S “PRESCRIPTION” FOR WORRY III. PRAYER 6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

As a man thinks in his heart, so is he (Psalm 23:7) Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. (Romans 12:2) Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth. ( Col 3:2)

GOD’S “PRESCRIPTION” FOR WORRY IV. PONDER 8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy — think about such things.

GOD’S “PRESCRIPTION” FOR WORRY V. PEACE 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
