3 THE INDUCTION PHENOMENON The electromagnetic induction is the phenomenon that originates the production of an electromotive force in a way or body exposed to a magnetic changeable field, or in a mobile way with regard to a magnetic static field. When the mentioned body is a conductor, an induced current is produced. This phenomenon was discovered by Michael Faraday who expressed it indicating that the magnitude of the induced voltage is proportional to the variation of the magnetic flux (Faraday's Law).
