There are many applications that can be downloaded and used in and out of the classroom o Some apps have different interactive activities that can be done o There are apps for teachers to create video tutorials that include voice, video, sketch pad, pictures, etc. Tutorials can then be disbursed to student electronically

E-textbooks can be downloaded on an iPad for the students to use o E-books can be highlighted in, figures drawn, notes taken in, etc. This can be done without damaging the books for other students, as would happen with a traditional book. Gives students easy and immediate access to internet during class, allowing them to look up pertinent information during lecture Student can take notes with diagrams, drawings, text, etc. like a traditional notebook, but have the ability to save it online (in different programs such as Evernote) so that they can access it at anytime. There is a huge amount of educational applications that can be downloaded and used in the classroom.
