In 2012, National Volunteer Week is April 15 through April 21. Each year, we look forward to this opportunity to show appreciation to our dedicated, caring volunteers who continue to give their time, expertise and support to so many programs in Sacramento County. Volunteer citizens of Sacramento County, you make a world of difference in the lives and programs you touch. Today, we celebrate and thank you for your commitment and all of the fine work you do. “Everyone can be great because anyone can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve. You don’t even have to make your subject and your verb agree to serve…You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love.” -Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. -Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
