4 Women’s Rights In General
Women rights in the past In the past women were not equal to man. They had no rights comparing to the men. Most of the time they spent at home taking care of the children and the house works. Man got much more attention then women because of the common belief that wife’s place is in the house. For a very long time women were discriminated because thoughts about women were passed throe the years. Discrimination was almost everywhere. Man got jobs even if women were more appropriate for it, only man were at the governmental jobs, and even they didn’t support women. Women, in the past few hundred years, did a great progress, but still it is not enough, because many places still have old fashioned thought, and this must be changed.

5 Women rights at present
The past two decades have seen women's organizations spring up around the world. Many are lawyers seeking justice for the underrepresented. They campaign against torture, domestic violence, equal treatment at work or for land rights and access to credit. All of these women are human rights defenders. This wave of courage, creativity and commitment has all too often met a wall of government indifference and sometimes government repression of the cruelest kind. Few governments recognize the work of women's human rights organizations as a legitimate exercise of fundamental civil and political rights.

6 The right of voting for women
Because of old-fashioned thoughts women were not part of politics until they have succeeded in their struggle against these old fashion thought, and became equal to man. It took a long time and effort to until women gained the right of voting. The suffrage movement was the main movement who fought for this right. The suffrages women demanded voting right for women. After they had understood that they wouldn’t get help from the parliament, they started to use violence. A woman called Emelin Penkherst, and her two daughters, first caused this. The suffrages women became more and more aggressive, because of their frustration. The suffrages moment only came after World War 1 ,when the democracy won, and finally they succeed to earn an equal treatment in subject of voting. The first country that gave to women a voting right was New Zealand in 1893. After that, joined the same opinion that woman should be allowed to vote, just like man. Today, it is more then natural to see a woman go to vote. Women have the same influence as every one else who votes. There are no countries where woman can’t vote.

7 Conclusion Women since few decades ago have been doing a tremendous progress to earn equal right to men. We think that today, women’s right are almost equal to men’s so it will take only a minor effort to make our society even.
