Compensation Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938 (FLSA)
Sets a minimum wage and requires overtime pay for work in excess of 40 hours per week. Salaried professional, executive, and administrative employees are exempt from the Act’s minimum wage and overtime provisions. Recency Error The tendency of the evaluator to base judgments on the subordinate’s most recent performance because it is the most easily recalled.
