On an average the time required between REQ and PO for services is 4 months. Strategic Sourcing aims at automating contract related processes SS helps in creating event for bidding, publish bids for solicitation, invite vendors for bidding, Supplier’s self registration, submit bids online, evaluate bids, award contracts, convert bidder into vendor, notify bidder about award, complete view of bidding cycle.

5 5 Strategic Sourcing: What is an Event? An Event may be defined as any Procurement action that requires interaction with vendor community through ITB, RFP, RFQ, Pre- selection etc. Who Creates an Event? A Person with Buyer Profile can create an Event
