2 What is Tooth Decay? Tooth Decay is an active process of tooth destruction.

3 What is Stomach Acid? It's a big part of the digestive process that breaks down foods and then sorts them out into the right places, killing bacteria, viruses and fungi before they can enter the body. It also turns vitamins and minerals into forms our bodies can soak up and use.

4 How is Tooth Decay Caused? The combination of bacteria and food causes tooth decay. A clear, sticky thing called plaque that contains bacteria is always forming on your teeth and gum.

5 How is Stomach Acid Caused? Well, you always have SOME acid in your body, but this is what causes TOO much of it. Stomach ulcer or cancers that increase the production of gastrin automatically increase the acid production.

6 How To Prevent Too Much Tooth Decay Brush your teeth at least twice a day with toothpaste. Preferably, brush after each meal and especially before going to bed.
