13 Other Information  I.T. started out representing those who worked in banks, hospitals, etc. for information storing purposes.  Someone who works in Information Technology can fix a variety of computer issues.  Specialist may work forty hours in one week in offices, labs, etc.  Employees can work with people face-to-face or via technology.  According to eHow, sometimes education on computer science, information systems, or computer engineering is required
