What is Titanium? Titanium is a common white metal that is low density, good strength, is easily fabricated, and has excellent corrosion resistance.

What is Yttrium? Yttrium has a silvery-metallic luster. Yttrium is found in rare- earth materials. Its turnings ignite in the air

Basic Facts on Titanium Titanium is number 22 on the periodic table of the elements. It has an atomic weight of 47.867. Titanium is a transition metal

Basic Facts on Yttrium Yttrium is number 39 on the periodic table of the elements. It has an atomic weight of 88.90585. Yttrium is also a transition metal

Uses for Titanium Titanium is the only element that can burn Nitrogen. This is useful because the reaction can be used to create fireworks. Titanium is used is alloys for space craft, air craft, and bicycle frames. Titanium is also great for making products like money clips

Uses for Yttrium Yttrium is used as a phosphor. This phosphor produces the red color that we have in television screens.
