Executive Summary IDoL has consistently and effectively inspected the Steel Mills in Indiana. There have been 75 completed inspections. No repeat or willful violations were found during any inspections. There is no evidence that the Steel Mills inspected have repeatedly violated safety orders. There is no correlation between safety orders and the number of accidents/fatalities at Steel Mills in Northwest Indiana.
