2. Ancient history The Romans arrived to Barcelona through the Mediterranean Sea by ship.

4. Their society was divided in social classes: -The high Roman class lived in big houses. They had an indoor courtyard. These houses were “domus”.

8. In this period the Romans were an important army. For this reason they founded some cities for example: Barcino, Tarraco, Empòrion...

10. They had a lot of wars, but the most important were the Punicas Wars.

11. Nowadays Nowadays Spanish food influenced by the Romans is: - Offelae (pizza), salads, olives, cakes, a lot of shellfish, granades...

12. Spanish is a language that comes from Latin. In architecture we have Roman influence: roads, bridges and aqueducts.

14. The Romans had a lot of entertainments that have influenced us like therms, theatres and amphitheatres.
