3. Instructional Strategies 1. Students will watch a brainpop video on polygons at brainpop.com under subject Math and category Geometry. 2. Students will research on the website http://www.mathsisfun.com/quadrilaterals.html about different polygons. They will fill out a graphic organizer by drawing each of the shapes and listing the characteristics of each shape. http://www.mathsisfun.com/quadrilaterals.html

7. Assessments Students will take the brainpop quiz on polygons at brainpop.com and email the results to teachers email address. Students will design a poster out of polygons and list how many of each shape they used with the names of the shapes on the back of their posters.
