5. Textbook page 114 Today, you are going to be able to define protozoa. Identify where you can find protozoa. Identify the characteristics of protozoa. Name 3 types based on the way they move.

6. Definition: for your notes Your textbook states that Protozoa are unicellular and a eukaryote meaning it has complex structures enclosed in a membrane. Protozoa comes from the Greek ”proton” meaning “first” and “zoa” meaning “animals.”

8. Does anyone know of any other one cell living things? What word in the definition means one cell? What is a membrane like? What does it do? Do you have any membranes? If so, what are they?
