2. Step 2: Fill in the Scholarship application form - Programme Activity and Workshop - After you have created your conference profile (see tutorial 1), you will be able to access the online programme activity and workshop scholarship application forms.

3. The programme activity and workshop scholarship requests start on the programme activity or workshop proposal submisssion systems. At step 4/4, you are asked the following question: “Would you like to request a scholarship for this workshop/programme activity?” Tick “Yes” and click “Continue”. x Read the information about scholarships on the right.

4. If you ticked yes, the “Abstract Preview” should reflect your request. Click on submit if your abstract preview and the information related is correct.

Choose “Click here to complete your abstract, programme activity or workshop scholarship request” The information should read “Scholarship application pending completion ” Click on the “Scholarships” tab. Sign in to your profile as indicated in the email.

7. If you have more than one abstract, workshop or programme activity scholarship request, you will see the following screen. Choose the reference number from the drop-down menu to complete each corresponding scholarship application. Note: you must complete one scholarship application form for each abstract, workshop or programme activity in which you have requested a scholarship.

8. You will be directed to the Terms and Conditions of the International Scholarship Programme. When you are finished reading and if you Read the whole page attentively. understand the application requirements, tick the box and click on “SUBMIT”. X

9. You will arrive to the International Scholarship Application Form. The first part: “Personal Details” is already filled in with the details you have provided in your conference profile. If any details are incorrect you can change them by clicking on the provided link to your Conference Profile. name@email.org

16. In section 4, your occupation is pulled from your conference profile, you do not have to re-enter it. Answer the essay question - summarizing with a maximum of 200 words - the main tasks you undertake in your work on HIV and AIDS. 17. In section 5, you must choose by ticking the box(es), what “level” of support you wish to request. Read the note.

18. In section 6, indicate in the pull-down menus if you have already attended an International AIDS Conference, and if so if you previously received a scholarship.

19. In sections 7 and 8 you must answer essay questions giving further details on your motivation to attend the conference, and how your community would benefit from you receiving the scholarship. 20. Before submitting your application, read the end of the form and make sure the information you entered is complete (once submitted, your application cannot be modified. Incomplete applications will not be considered). Click on “SUBMIT”. You have finished your workshop/programme activity scholarship request.
