Having Poor Vision Happiness: Many people will give everything for happiness and make it their primary vision, sometimes unintentionally. If happiness is your goal it will always allude you. Happiness is the fruit of having and fulfilling vision and purpose that is in the will of God Rest & Entertainment: (NOTE)If we do not have and even schedule time to rest and have fun we will burn out even if we have vision. Many people take these to the extreme and make Rest or Entertainment their primary vision. They will put other things aside to make sure they are not tired and are not missing out on something entertaining or fun. Interestingly, these people are just as tired as anyone else most times. As you pursue vision you’ll find energy and passion you didn’t know you had to keep on going.

How do I get a vision for my life? 1. Talk to God. Is He really the Lord (the Leader) of our lives? God what would you have me do? a. He has a plan for your life. Open up to Him and let Him show you. it is written: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived”—the things God has prepared for those who love him— these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. - 1 Corinthians 2.9-10 2. Develop a vision of how you see yourself or who you’d like to be 50 years from now. Think about who you’d like to be (I’d like to impact people in this way) rather than what you’d like to do (I’d like to be involved in this profession) Give yourself a vision of what you could be. Undisciplined people aren’t lazy they have a vision problem. They don’t know who they are or could be.

Why is Vision Helpful? What do you want to be when you grow up? Many little kids have a dream to be a firefighter or princess when they grow up. With these dreams or VISION for their lives they will begin to do activities and even act in the way they see themselves in that role in the future. They pretend to do what a person in that profession would do but also act the way that person acts. Do you know who you are? & Do we act like it? The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, 17 and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together. -Romans 8.16-17
