Refugees flee their country not for economic gain but to escape persecution, the threat of imprisonment and even threats to their lives. They need a safe haven where they can recover from mental and physical trauma and rebuild their hopes for a better future.

Refugee Health Program Eligibility Requirements IMMIGRATION STATUS Refugee Asylee Cuban/Haitian Entrant Amerasian Victim of Trafficking Unaccompanied Refugee Minor Special Immigrant (Iraqi and Afghan) TIME LIMITS Health Assessment-within 90 days of arrival Immunizations-started within one year of arrival

Refugee Health Case Managers ― Located in Duval, Hillsborough, Orange, and Palm Beach ― Provide health services and transportation education in order to access health services ― Assist with coordination of follow-up health care services ― Act as a liaison between local health departments and refugee resettlement agencies
