11. Pre Install Checklist Verify library is running the latest firmware. Verify you have downloaded the latest version of NeoCenter / Neo8000Center Software. Make sure you have a Neo Series serial cable. Review installation instructions found in the Users Manual

Things to Know Neo 8000 LPO has a limitation of 4 drawers (240 slots) - Runs out of memory Neo 8000 Main Library controller does not have any memory issues Can use partitioning without a LPO card to shrink the number of slots (like reserved slots). Good for software licensed by number of slots. Minimum one drive and one magazine per partition. Maximum 15 LPO cards – Neo 2000/4000. Maximum 5 LPO cards – Neo 8000. - At least 1 drive and 1 drawer per partition. Neo 2000/4000 router requests Network Time Protocol.
