When someone has a LD it means that the person has a problem receive, process, analyze, or store information. There are many different types of LD – Dyscalculia: Arithmetic Disorder – Dysgraphia & Dyslexia: Reading Disorders – Dyspraxia: Motor Planning/Sensory Disorder – Expressive Language Disorder Nearly four million school-age children and teens have learning disabilities, and at least 20% of them have a type of disorder that makes it difficult to focus.

The Signs of a LD Some of the signs to pay attention to are: Slow reading and writing Speaking is not clear when communicating Having problems in reading, spelling, math problems, and short attention span. Children who are diagnosed with ADHD also has a LD too.
