Dr. Helen Gross, Career Education Workshop Series 4 RESUME WRITING TIPS: Design each resume to fit a particular job. Be specific. – Use numbers, dates, names. (Ex. – Maintain a “B” average, missed only one day of school, etc.) List your work experience with dates and employer contacts. List volunteer/community work. Include information about achievements and special abilities. Make your resume “readable”. Proofread. Proofread. Proofread. Have someone else read your resume before typing the final copy.
