4 Question #1 What are some interesting facts about Theodore Roosevelt?
Theodore Roosevelt authored over 25 books. The Teddy Bear is named after Teddy Roosevelt. Most of the original National Parks and the National Park system were created by Roosevelt. He was the first President to ride in an airplane. He flew for four minutes in a plane built by the Wright Brothers on October 11, 1910. His head is on Mt. Rushmore. After he left office, he went on a African Safari.

He believed that the Progressive Movement is making life a little easier for all our people; a movement to try to take the burdens off the men and especially the women and children of this country. Helping people.

He designated 150 natural forests. He designated the first 51 federal bird reservations, 5 National Parks, the first National Monuments, the first 4 National Game Preserves, and the 1st Reclamation Projects. He provided federal protection for almost 230 million acres, from Florida to Maine.

Explain Our country was better because he created many national parks like Yellowstone, the Badlands, Theodore Roosevelt Park, and the teddy bear, Our country was also better because he was a great president by being a good leader. He was a good leader because: he held many offices because he wanted to make our country better.

Question #6 Is he still alive? If yes where does he live? If no how, when, and where did he die? Where is he buried? Theodore Roosevelt got shot in the chest in 1919 when he was 61. He is buried in Sagamore Hill in New York.

10 Final Thoughts I learned many facts about Theodore Roosevelt.
He made our country better in so many ways! I think that doing Theodore Roosevelt on this project was fun and interesting! I would like to do him again! I found out that he was a leader for many different things. I learned he created some national parks and the teddy bear! After I did this project, Theodore Roosevelt is one of my favorite presidents.
