Saving Land Throughout Theodore’s life he loved the outdoors and that’s why he didn’t let people take down parks that people love and replace it with buildings. He was considered a Conservationist. That means he wanted to conserve, preserve, and protect the beautiful land of The United States.

THE SPANISH/AMEICAN WAR Theodor Roosevelt was in the Spanish/American war he rode on horse back through the whole war. For being in that war that made him want to run for president.

BEING PRESIDENT Theodor Roosevelt was vice president for John McKinley. Soon President McKinley was assassinated and Teddy took his place as the youngest president ever with out being elected. He was the 27 th president.

LEGACY This is his legacy. Teddy changed the world. He made sure that land would stay there and parks would not be torn down. He even fought for the Grand Canyon to be a national monument but sadly he did not win that battle but later on it became a national monument.

FACTS Teddy was home schooled and went to Harvard university. His face is on Mount Rush More. He was a rough rider in a group. Theodore didn’t like being called teddy.
