Project Control: last element in the plan-implementation- monitor-control cycle Control: the act of reducing the difference between plan and reality Uses the information from the monitoring process to get and keep a project on track Monitoring and Controlling includes:- Measuring the ongoing project Monitoring the project variables against the project management plan and the project performance baseline Identify corrective actions to address issues and risk properly Influencing the factors that could circumvent integrated change control so only approved changes are implemented
