Ontario Wind Turbines Over 900 windmills in Ontario/ internationally 68,000 turbines have been installed over the last 25 years. Shelburne = 133 turbines Wolfe Island = 86 turbines Ministry of the Environment (MOE) has been denying that they’ve tracked more than 200 complaints going back to 2006 when the first turbines were installed.

Wind Turbine Symptoms Dizziness Headaches Sleep disturbances Problems: Small sample size Lack of exposure data Lack of controls Selection bias Source: Chief Medical Officer of Health [Ontario]. (2010) The potential impact of wind turbines.
3
Conclusion Currently available scientific evidence does NOT support a causal relationship between turbine noise and health
4
Other Potential Health Hazards of Wind Turbines Electromagnetic fields (EMF)—very low levels Shadow flicker (affects 3% of epileptics), but the level from turbines is below the trigger level Ice throw & ice shed—ice is flung off the rotating blades at distances up to 100 meters Structural hazards—blades break off (max. blade 150 meters, max. fragments flung 500 meters.
