During the film, as Truman realizes what is going on, Seahaven is shown from high angle and bird’s eye view shots that reveal the truth beyond the perfect appearance (it is all a set) and make the people seem small and vulnerable. The high shows us the sense of confinement in the world which is simply an isolated set. The change in shots also manipulates the viewer, which could be a comment on how all movie audiences are manipulated by the camera.
