1. Audere est Facere – To dare is to do Slideshow Presentation
Tottenham Hotspur fans are known for following the team around the country during the 10 month long Premier League season. White Hart Lane, Tottenham’s ground is situated in North London and Spurs fans have travelled as far a field as Newcastle which is 280 miles up north.
As a Spurs fan myself I have seen the lengths that supporters go to follow the club. Both home and away games are flooded with Tottenham shirts, flags, scarfs, hats, programmes and memorabilia which shows anyone that the Tottenham fans are in town.
March’s Capital One Cup final showed the camaraderie that fans had and how people from all walks of life came together in unison all because of a football team as football is a way of life for Spurs fans.
One of the main reasons for choosing this photography idea is because when we think of football the first thing that comes to mind is the players and the game itself when in reality a lot more goes on that we don’t even think about.
I would like to show how football brings people from all walks of life together and how this affects the supporters of the club. This is down to the 1882 movement that Tottenham Hotspur fans have.
The quote of “I have never had so much fun at a football match, never laughed so much and never sung so much. The irony is we never came to watch a football match, we came to support our football club” sums up what I have tried to encapsulate through my photography.

2. My chosen publication: Four Four Two
My photostory will feature in popular football magazine Four Four Two. The publication offers their intelligent and international audience access to the game’s biggest names, insightful analysis, and a bit of a giggle.
The magazine is split up in the following sections: First Section, Upfront (from about page 25 to 60), Features (usually from page 60 to 125) and Planet Football.
I feel that my photostory would be best suited to the publications features section as it focuses on just one football team (Tottenham Hotspur)
FourFourTwo is the world’s biggest football magazine, published in 17 markets, with a digital portfolio that includes an iPad magazine app, award winning stats app, a website offering advice on playing the game better and a global website and because of this I feel that readers will be interested by my photo spread
