Survey Overview conducted online via SurveyMonkey from July 31 to August 19, 2013 88 completed surveys 72% response rate (typical rate for membership organization is 5%-40%) margin of error = +/- 5% at 95% confidence level

Who Are Our Members? 54% men, 45% women 90% live in WNC all year 36% travel 10 min or less, 33% travel >20 min 82% age 65 or over; 16% under age 65

What We’ve Done So Far Changed layout to include classroom seating up front Asked all presenters to use microphones Assigned someone to monitor room temp & comfort & ask for feedback

What Remains To Be Done Improve presentation content Add greater variety of topics Use additional presenters (not the same 1 or 2)

Biggest New Change! Establish a CONTENT Committee Quarterly meetings to brainstorm ideas Plan 3 months’ worth of topics in advance Take pulse of membership for useful/interesting content
