2. December 2003 Page 2 Introduction MXIE in 3.0 has had a major work over. Most of this is fairly transparent to the user but the changes will allow for future development of additional features. The main objective is to bring all 3 platforms to the same level of development (Windows, MAC and Linux)

December 2003 Page 3 The Differences MAC and Linux MXIE do not currently have: –Softphone – planned for a future release –No Fax Drivers –No TAPI interface (MAC’s use an equivalent which is Apple Scripting – also scheduled for the next release) –No current Wallboard Interaction (This still requires Excel)
