Collaborating: Resource Sharing Web-based therefore access all the time Teachers could share resources for different projects Some students were overwhelmed by del.icio.us – preferred ikeepbookmarks.com (especially for younger kids) In higher ed students suggested they keep all their resources from classes here so they could have them in later classes With citeulike you can create groups & allow folks to join (eg.- folks you meet at a convention, students in a group project) ALSO creates an RSS feed some said it wasn’t user friendly and was somewhat complicated to figure out

Activities for Collaboration Tools Learning to search the web as a math class, everyone can find a game and store the information in the same place For schools where students can’t surf the web, teachers put the links students can go to on the page Create summer reading list for students When topic is dangerous to surf (like Holocaust) teachers can limit the places students can look on the web.
