19 Microsoft Outlook From the Windows Start Screen, select Outlook Three windows will open – at each of these click NEXT At the next window enter your password and check “Remember My Credentials” – click OK Click FINISH Check your email at least 3 times during the day For example, you could check your email 1) before school, 2) once during school, and 3) after school

20 Outlook Navigation Move your cursor to the right facing arrow (below New Email) Click on this arrow to expand the pane

21 Outlook Navigation CLICK on the ellipsis at the bottom of the pane Select Navigation Options UNCHECK "Compact Navigation"

23 Calendar – Meeting Receipt When you receive a meeting request from someone, it will look like a normal email Some actions (Accept, Tentative, Decline) will be listed towards the top of the email An image of your calendar will appear in the body of the email

24 Calendar – Meeting Receipt Regardless of if you will are accepting or declining the meeting, always make sure you respond to the requester. Use the down facing arrow next to Accept, Decline, or Tentative to select your response.

25 Cloud Storage – OneDrive for Business Open FIREFOX (you need to use Firefox for this portion) Sign into outlook.com/marist.com Click on the ONEDRIVE tab in the upper right corner

26 Cloud Storage – OneDrive for Business The following window will appear. Do not click play. Wait a few moments until you have the option to “Continue to OneDrive” and then click that option. (If the option does not appear after a few moments, mute your computer and click Play.)

27 Cloud Storage – OneDrive for Business Click SYNC Click SYNC NOW

28 Cloud Storage – OneDrive for Business In the next window, do the following: Check the box that says “Remember my choice for grvopen links.” Click OK Enter your email address Then, enter your password

30 Saving to OneDrive for Business From Windows Start Screen, open WORD (If prompted to sign-in and personalize, go through that process) Click on BLANK DOCUMENT Type “Sample Document”

31 Saving to OneDrive for Business Click on FILE Click on SAVE AS Click on ADD A PLACE Click on OFFICE 365 SHAREPOINT

32 Saving to OneDrive for Business Enter your email address Enter your password Choose OneDrive – Marist School Click BROWSE

33 Saving to OneDrive for Business In the File Explorer, under Favorites, select OneDrive for Business Click on New Folder Title the folder “2014-2015” Click OPEN Title the document “Sample” and click SAVE

34 Check your Google password Go to mygoogle.marist.com Enter Email Enter Password

35 Cloud Storage – GOOGLE DRIVE From the Windows Start Screen, search for and open Google Drive Enter your email address and password At the Welcome screen, click on “I accept. Continue to my account.”

36 Cloud Storage – GOOGLE DRIVE Click SKIP at the verification screen At the next three windows, click NEXT At the final window, click DONE

37 OneNote Setup From the Windows Start Screen, open ONENOTE When prompted to sign in, CLOSE the window – do NOT sign in

38 MyHomework From the Windows Start Screen, search for “myHomework” in the STORE.

39 MyHomework Select myHomework Then, select INSTALL

40 MyHomework If prompted, log into your Microsoft Account by entering your email address and new password. Once myHomework has installed, the app will be located on the Windows Start Screen Open the app

41 MyHomework Click on ADD A CLASS Then, click on SIGN UP

42 MyHomework Do NOT sign up through Facebook Username = FirstNameLastName (no space) Email = Marist email address Password = laptop password

43 MyHomework Click “Don’t Allow”

44 MyHomework – Adding Classes Clicking on your name, in the upper right corner Click on HOME Click on ADD CLASS Click on ADD A CLASS MANUALLY

45 MyHomework – To Add Homework From the HOME screen, click on ADD HOMEWORK It helps if you have already added a class or two Lots of options for classifying!

46 MyHomework – Syncing Will sync to many mobile devices (iPhone, Android, iPad, Kindle, etc.) Can also view via the web at https://myhomeworkapp.com https://myhomeworkapp.com For both of these options, you will need to sign up and make sure to SYNC – on both the mobile device AND your Lenovo
