Rene-Robert Cavelier, Sieur de La Salle La Salle was a French explorer who came to Texas a long time ago but before that he was sent by the king to go look for more land but then when he came back to France he asked the king for more ships and more people when he came back he landed in the wrong place about 400miles in the wrong place.So with some of his soldiers came with him but then when he came back he had landed somewhere in Texas. So then after that La Salle build a fort in Texas then his soldiers turned against him and killed him.

Alonso Alvarez de Piñeda In1519,Pineda sailed into the gulf coast finding places to settle. He drew the first map of the Texas coastline and he also was the first Spanish Explorer to reach Texas.

Alvar Nunez Cabana de Vaca In 1528,a group of about 600 Spaniards landed near Tampa Bay witch is now none as Florida. And one of the group members in the group was Cabeza de Vaca. So they sat out to have a great adventure. So they tried to go back to the ship but they couldn't find there way back. But when they builder rafts to had out to the coast of Mexico but then a big storm blew them shore. The man thought they wasn’t going to make it then one morning the named Cabeza de Vaca heard the sounds of breaking waves. The other man had woken in a surprise In the month of November6,1528 Cabeza de Vaca and his other man landed in Texas, Galveston island.And only fifteen ma survived. Sooner they met the native Americans they did different things and trailed different things. But later on man started to die but when that was happing Cabez de Vaca still traveled and met the coahuiltecans.

Pan filo De Narvaez In 1528,Panfilo de Narvaez was sent on a Mission so he can set up the Spanish Settle Mints from Florida to the Texas Rio Grande. Starting in Florida with 300man so they can march to Florida.

Christopher Columbus He was trader and captain. He went to trade country and spices. Christopher and others went to Asia for spices. They went to a different way for a short cut. He thought that he landed in china or japan. But he was wrong. He was in Florida he did not reach Asia. He wanted to get food and ships, So he got Money from Queen Isabella so he could start his journeys.

Comanche's Comanche where very fierce warriors that lived in the southern plains of Texas and they even used to do a lot of trade fairs. They used to live good with a lot of food, clothes and any other needs. They have stole a lot of stuff to trade other people for better needs. Bands of comaches began moving south a long time ago.

Karankawa The Karankawa indians lived along the Texas coast of the gulf of Mexico. Their territory was from the west end of galveston island down the coast to where corpus christie is today

Jumano The Jumanos themselves are another source to confusion. There were at Jumanos each living in different Vegion.

Coahulitecans The name Coahuiltecans describes many different types of groups that lived in same area. All across southern Texas, beginning thousand of years ago nomads, hunters, and gatherers. They descendants live throughout the south Texas

Tonkawa The Tonkawa lived in a central Texas near modern Austin. Their historical Territory was along the Balcones Territory between Austin and san Antoniooriginally the Tonkawa had a larger Teritorry that included the hill country around Llano and mason Texas.

NarvaezCabeza de Vaca Cabeza de Vaca started at1528 all the way to 1536. Cabeza de Vaca exploration goals was to return back to Mexico Cabeza de Vaca the area that he explored was the Texas interior. But Cabeza de Vaca discveration what he discovered was the Karankawa and the coahulitacans and also the Buffalo They both started exploring in 1528. They where both explorers. They both tried to explor something They both had a disseveration. They both have Spanish Narvaez exploration goals was to claim the lands along the golf of Mexico for Spain. Narvaez area that he explored was Florid swamps and forests. The discoveries that he discovered was the Texas coast. He discovered something different then Cabeza de Vaca.
